What I Wore Wednesday

Okay, so I skipped last week.  Oops!  Mainly because I forgot to take pictures of my outfits (or they weren't worth taking pictures of!)  This week I didn't do much better.  I've started my new schedule at work, plus we went to the local fair a couple nights.  Anyway, these pictures are a combination of the last two weeks.  I'm not putting the days, or what I did, because I can't remember! HA!

Tank: Old Navy

Flip Flops- Old Navy (can't see them or I don't even have them on!)

So there you have it, my random mix of outfits.  And just so you know I swear I do actually own stuff that's not from Target, Old Navy or Wal-Mart!  For some reason that's just what I wear alot of!!  I will try to do better this week...maybe actually get out of the comfy clothes!

Trying It Out

So over at The Pleated Poppy she has "What I Wore Wednesdays."  I thought I would give it a try this week.  Since I work nights, most of my days are spent at home with kids or running errands.  I thought by doing this it would force me to "get dressed."  I would lounge around in pajama pants all day if I could! ha!  I don't know if I will continue to take pictures of my outfits everyday (I'm somewhat forgetful!), but I would at least like to do a few days.  So here is last week....

Wednesday-had a "meeting" in town

Thursday-laundry day (exciting, right?)

Leggings:  Wal-Mart

Shoes:  Gap

Friday- Hobby Lobby w/ my mom..work that night

Shirt:  Target (noticing a pattern here!)

Capri's:  Old Navy

Shoes:  Old Navy

Hat:  Some store in Texas I can't remember the name of! ha!

Saturday and Sunday-I worked all weekend, so I will not bore you with pictures of me in scrubs! HA!

Monday-finished painting bedroom furniture..more laundry (where the heck does it all come from?!?)

No Picture Available....told you I was forgetful!!

So there you have my wardrobe for a week, give or take a few days.  I was lucky last week because I actually HAD to leave the house a few days, we will see how this week goes.  Maybe I will post again next Wednesday, maybe you will NEVER see my attire again!!  So what do you guys think, keep posting or stay in my pj's all day?

My Dreams Come True

I posted here about some shoes that I LOVED at Target.  Well I am SUPER excited to say my mom bought the second pair.  She bought them to wear to a convention she is attending.  I about died when she showed them to me.  She was just casually showing me her outfits she planned to take, and BAM there were the shoes I have been dreaming about!!  The reason I am Super excited is she has agreed to give them to me when she returns!  How freakin' sweet is that!?!?!  They are a little snug, but I will rock them anyway...why because they are so CUTE!!!  I don't care if they pinch my toes a little.  I will suffer just so I can wear these cute and FREE shoes!



p.s. It may seem silly to post about this, but it just shows how excited I am!! HA!

Oh Target The Things You Do To Me

The kids and I loaded up and headed to Target yesterday.  My plan was to get a wedding gift for this weekend.  Well a cart load later we left Target.  Seriously, I would like to meet one person that can go in there and not buy a cart full!  I'm telling you it's not possible!  Believe me I've tried, and failed miserably! HA!  Anyway, as I was strolling through the shoes I saw these......and fell in LOVE with them!

Are they not adorable!?!  I would have bought both pairs ($14.99 each can't beat that!), but where would I wear them?  I work in a hospital for pity sake!  Can't you see me pushing a stretcher in these beautiful things! HA!  And considering we "go out on the town" about once every six months...I couldn't justify the purchase.  But I can't get them out of my head!  Maybe I could buy them and wear them around the house, cleaning and doing laundry.  That would look okay...wouldn't it?  I'm seriously considering it!
